Hi, had ordered an Cyclon iEvolution and it is defective. Had tried all methods from cyclon site and download the firmware from this site but it just won't work.

hello cyclo dsi are already preflashed by us, you just need to copy the software in order to work

Downloaded the boot.ievo file from cyclon and from zhuzhuchina to the SD card with different capacity and still not working.

hello boot.ievo is need only for bootstrap did you try to install the normal software only? http://cyclopsds.com/downloads/ievo-firmware-2.3.zip

What do you mean by normal software? Content of this zip file ievo-firmware-2.3.zip are readme.txt and boot.ievo files. That's the file that I use for the SD card.

1. If I try to flash the card, when I plug in the SD card as instructed in the document, the red light does not turn off.
2. Since you said the card is already flash and all I need is to copy the firmware to the SD, did what you suggest and tried booting with cyclon, my DSi still did not detect the card and it boot into NDS menu. I can confirm that the SD cards and DSi slot are working.
You mention the card was already flash, may I know which version you use, US, UK or Japan? Mine is a US version.

we used the eur update, due our console was eur. i will ask if can update again with us version or not however did you download the correct roms?

yes i believe, i will try to update bootstrap with different version, we sold out cyclo, tomorrow will get another stock we forgot that there were us-eur version too however if defective you can ship back to us for replacement or refund, we will refund your shipping fee too if defective due our eur update( not express courier but.. )

" Yes the process can be done again an again with the dongle iEVO updater. Please ask him to try with different Micro-SD first to make sure the problem is not coming from there.
Note: The R&D team are aware of the situation concerning the 3DS firmware 2.1.0-3 and the DSi update 1.4.3 the block the iEVO. Our engineers are working on the new bootstrap, soon as we have more information our website will be updated.

check if your dsi is 1.4.3 or not, and then if you can test it on ds lite, if don't work ship back to us for replacement see you

Tried reflashing the iEvo as suggested. Downloaded the roms and generate the firmware. Copied the firmware to three different SD card, 4 GB, 8 GB and 16 GB. Connect the UFO to the PC and the card red light turn on, tried with all the 3 different SD cards, all same result, the red light does not go off. My DSi is having firmware version 1.4.1 U.
